Meet the RDLS PTSO!
The RDLS Parent-Teacher-Student Organization (PTSO) is dedicated to fostering a fun and welcoming community at the school. “The goal of the organization is to support the staff and families at RDLS through whatever means possible, explained Erin Hernanez, a member of the RDLS PTSO. “This may mean fundraising, volunteering, donating or building.
The PTSO hosts exciting events like the Welcome Back Carnival in September, the Family Dance Night in February, and an adults-only Fiesta Night in April, all aimed at bringing families together. One of the PTSO’s most impactful traditions is providing every student and staff member with a free spirit wear shirt each year, designed by the previous year's 4th-grade class.
“I feel that the RDLS PTSO does a good job impacting the school community with our events,”Erin said.
Open to all parents, the PTSO is a great way for the community to connect and make a difference.
