Input for RDLS Principal Search

Dear RDLS Families and Staff,

As we work to hire a new principal for Richfield Dual Language School, the interview committee and I would like your input. We would like to know what you view as the strengths of your school community, what you consider to be the top priorities a new principal should address, and what characteristics you most want in a new principal.

Please respond to this survey by noon on Tuesday, Feb. 27.

It is important that families and staff from the RDLS school community are involved in selecting the new leader for your school, which is why we are also involving several staff and PTO members in the interview and selection process. 

Here is our hiring timeline: The position is currently open, and we have received quite a few applications so far. The interview process includes several steps and starts on Wednesday. Our goal is to hire and name the new principal this spring with a start date of July 1, 2024. This will allow them time to wrap up the school year wherever they are currently serving and also have time to acclimate to RDLS before the start of the new school year.
