After 28 years serving Richfield students and 32 years as a dedicated School Psychologist, Dr. Joann Chiappetta Baumgardner is heading into retirement! Born in Cosenza, Italy, and raised in both Italy and Chicago, Joann brought a global perspective and deep compassion to every school she supported—RDLS, Centennial, Sheridan, RIS/STEM, Spartan, and ECSE.
With countless cherished memories, Joann looks forward to continuing her favorite pastimes: playing guitar and ukulele, jamming with others, playing pickleball, traveling, and enjoying time with loved ones.
Thank you, Joann, for your years of service, heart, and harmony. You will be missed!
